Remote control equipment allows the use of a radio system from another location where it may not be practical to install an antenna or to allow communications from multiple locations connected by dedicated telephone lines. They provide an inexpensive alternative to the erection of a tower or reocation of an existing installation when the dispatch center is moved from the radio location.
